Windows Phone users can get SkyDrive Storage of 20 GB For Free

Microsoft is inviting Windows Phone owners to activate a bonus 20GB of SkyDrive storage for a year:

Microsoft is giving you an extra 20GB of free SkyDrive Storage if you are windows phone user.

The storage will be active for a year, and users can claim it by the end of January. The company already offers 7GB of SkyDrive storage free with Windows Phone devices.

SkyDrive is built into your windows phone. It’s personnel online storage that you can access-along with photos and files you can save there – at SkyDrive.com from any internet-enabled device ,and through the SkyDrive mobile app.

You can apply this storage to your Account on before 31st January 2014

According to The Verge, SkyDrive has grown increasingly important for Microsoft, particularly with the changes introduced in Windows 8.1.

It goes without saying that SkyDrive has become a crucial part of Microsoft’s entire ecosystem, and offering free storage only gives people more on an incentive to start using its cloud storage service, while those who already do will no doubt be overjoyed with an additional 20GB of storage in their accounts.

Microsoft has been rather generous lately, with regards to offering free SkyDrive storage. It already offers 200GB free for two years with every purchase of its new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 tablets.

The free cloud storage will be good for an entire year. So if you do own a Windows Phone, it would certainly serve your own interest to claim your free 20GB SkyDrive storage
